Mildred Mousser

The Boardin Houze Miztrezz

Mildred Mousser’s been a running the Boarding House down the way. She and her kid brother, Maney, keeps it up. I hear tell that lots of those them there fancy dancy ladies stay there when their not over at Todz’ Pool Palace sunning themselves. Mildred is really runs a tight ship but I hear tell she’s a real pussycat. She won’t just let anyone stay at the Boarding House. I hear tell that one time Yoz, the sheriff, wanted to room there while his abode was getting some upkeep but she wouldn’t hear of it. No mans allowed, other than her kid brother, Maney. But she even banned him from the Boarding House when she caught him sneaking peeks in the rooms.

Mildred used to work at the Cannery with one of Stumpy’s family until it got flooded out the last time the blues (sky) opened up. I hear tell there’s someone over there working on it as we speaks. Anyway, it was Stumpy’s family that told her that the Boarding House needed someone to take care of it because the old couple were retiring to the other side. So she got the job and has been a tyrant ever since.

Mildred and Maney don’t look anything alike. Stumpy said that he heard their mummy had lots of fellows back in the old days and wasn’t sure who their daddy wsa. Then they got chased out from the other side by the giants and ended up here in Ebel. I don’t know for sure, but they just showed up on day and they stayed. Mildred really keeps a nice place. I haven’t ever been in there but that’s what I hear tell.
