PETESEY
THE PEDDLER
Hey, you know Petesey? He’s that little guy that’s a little round around the middle and he’s [always dragging a stuff behind him. I hear tell he’s got everything in there including the kitchen tub! And if he doesn’t have it, he can get it. Anything you need you can find at the Peddler’s Wagon. I think everyone in Ebel knows Petesey. He’s all over the place and never in the same place. Have you ever got some of Petesey’s special cold medicine? It’s guaranteed to cure what ail you. I get it by the jug every time he’s coming around. Sure keeps me running smooooth! And it’s gooood too!
I hear tell that Petesey’s gone out beyond to that other world to get some really great stuff. He’s got to be the bravest little guy I know. Well one time he brought me this fine hat from the other side. Said it belonged to a king. It sure is pretty don’t you think? And Hamner got a really great suit from him. Of course, it’s big enough to hold all Hamner’s tools and Hamner too. And Hamner’s a big guy you know. Hey, if you can’t find Petesey and need something, you know he’s got a big shop down by the Butcher’s Shop just filled to the brim with anything you could ever want. I hear tell that Petesey’s been sneaking around and seeing Zeez on the sly. That’s why it’s been so darn hard to find him lately to get our medicine. Zeez, the fortune teller down at the circus, told that she inherited all those fancy duds but I think Petesey’s been getting pretty things for her from the other side. Of course, Ms. Petesey don’t know about it…….yet! I’m surprised someone hasn’t put a bug in her ear about it. Of course, I hear tell that his Ms. has been seeing the mayor every day and caught Hamner, the fixer, with Missy Maze in the town hall back room. Now that a whole another story!
