HAPPY NEW YEAR 2005 brought many changes in our life. After almost 3 years in the works, LHS Alumni Square, which I designed for our local school system, was finally dedicated August 26, 2005. It was quite a night. Our ceremony was very simple but touched many hearts. Our youngest son, Scott, got a job in West Virginia. Son Gary's bank, Bank One, was taken over by J.P. Morgan. There was a lot of shuffling of staff and many lost their jobs at his bank, but he has been retained by J.P. Morgan. His oldest, Abigail, started first grade this fall and she is currently reading at fourth grade level. Elizabeth started Pre-School and loves it.........NOW. She wasn't very happy for some time but has adjusted well. The twins, Gary & Gabriana, are going to be 3 the end of May. What a pair! Our daughter, Kimberly, and family, moved December 1st during one of the coldest spells we had this past year. They now live a little over a mile from us. Gary and I worked on transforming 2 small basement rooms into "While You Were Out" type rooms. They were to be a surprise and not "opened" until Christmas Eve, but I became very sick the week before Christmas and had all I could do to get up. We got the main substance of the rooms done before the end of the year but once again are at a standstill because they all have the flu and prefer to wait until they are better to finish the rooms. Scott has been riding a motorcycle all summer and finally talked his dad into riding. What a pair with their matching leather jackets! They are bonding................. So now my husband is a biker dude! We are taking the bikes with us to Florida and they are going to ride around the Keys while I soak in the sun. Early November I began working at our local JoAnn Fabrics store part time and Gary is still at the foundry. We now have 9 Yorkies living with us, plus 2 to sell yet from our fall liters and 4 puppies born November 29th. To say it's a little crazy here is an understatement. I'm getting ready for IDEX. Well, I should say that I'm trying to get ready. With working on the grandkids bedrooms, working, and ill, I didn't touch dolls at all in December. In fact, we didn't get our tree up until Christmas Eve. We hope you all had a very happy holiday season and wish you the best for the new year. Linda
