Rag dolls are not a new concept. Our portrait rag dolls are a treasured keepsake made to be played with. Inspired by the Victorian era, Linda has given her personal touch to the traditional cloth doll.

Created from the child's photo, the dolls feature hand painted facial details. As with vintage rag dolls, the hair is made from yarn. The clothing is of 100% pre-washed cotton or cotton blend and made from the child's favorite colors. Sorry, we do not offer a choice of fabrics. Outfits may be custom designed to your specifications. An appliquéd heart is on the dress bodice, collar or pinafore with the child's photo in the center. Boys have a photo of the child with "(child's name) for President" or as an All-Star pin. Unless otherwise noted, shoes are sewn on and made of velveteen or corduroy. You can choose from traditional style or girl's tie shoe. order, print and send with photos and payment. Send electronic .jpg

For best results, photos should be of good quality with a full face view and no harsh shadows. Actual size of face in photo should be at least 1", larger size is preferred especially if teeth are showing. Photo need not be a professional photo, snap shots work fine. It is suggested that you include at least two different photos with your order. The artist will determine which will make the best doll. We recommend that you send copies instead of original photos. DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL PHOTOS.
PAYMENT METHODS
The first method is using the PayPal system. This is a quick and easy and very secure method of electronic payment. A deposit of 50% is required with order, balance is due when doll is ready to ship. If ordering more than one doll shipped to the same address, shipping charges will be calculated.

The second method is by check or money order. Full payment must be made in advance if sending payment by mail. Your check will be held until doll is completed and ready to ship.
