SURPRISE DELIVERY The evening of August 29, 2008. Star had been clinging to hubby, but that wasn't unusual. He asked if she was getting ready to go into heat. I took Star and checked her because I thought it could be possible. No, she wasn't but she had some mats so I trimmed them and put her down in the bed by the couch. She was acting strange and I thought I would have to send her to the vet the next day with my husband because I had to work. I kept watching her and thought maybe she was constipated as she seemed to be grunting. I got a paper towel in case she was having difficulty passing the poop. Low and behold, it wasn't constipation..........she was having a puppy! Needless to say, she hadn't looked pregnant, she didn't act pregnant, but by golly she was pregnant. Chloe arrived at 10:52pm. We were in shock! Mama and baby are doing fine. CHLOE

two weeks old.......
Now at 7 weeks old, and weighing only 1.4 lb, Chloe has developed into quite a little beauty. Just like her mama, Star, her ears never went through the flying nun stage. They went straight up and stayed there. She has the cutest little button nose, short legs and a nice solid body.
She loves to run and hop-hop-hop outside. Trying to get her to hold still long enough to get a good picture was next to impossible.

Chloe at 12 weeks old. She weighs 2 lb, same as her mama Star did at that age.............
The first week of December, Chloe discovered the water dish.......and just like a little raccoon, she was digging in the bottom for who knows what! The first time she did it, we thought it was cute and a fluke, but then she did it again another night. She would dig and dig and dig at the bottom of the dish, getting soaking wet.
