About Bo
Bo is our special boy. He's a spinner. He spins so fast that sometimes he flips
while in mid air. We found out that he also swims in
circles when he accidentally fell in the pool. He is the only one of our
yorkies that will chase after and attach himself to your pants leg and won't let
go. Occasionally he get a little too close to the skin, but mostly he's
after the pants leg. He also loves to untie shoes but only when they're on
your feet. He doesn't like chewy's or treats but loves to be
held. Bo is our special needs baby. At two weeks old he suffered a
severe brain injury as a result of an accident that we are still not sure
exactly what happened. He had to be hand fed and a month after his
accident, we still weren't sure if he was going to make it. As a result of
his accident, he suffers seizures now and then. He tightens up his body as
hard as a rock and sometimes I'm not sure if he's even breathing. Most of
the time I can calm him down and he will come out of it in a short time. He celebrated
his second birthday last October. With each litter we have, Bo seems to
learn a little more. He just now is enjoying chewy's and likes treats and
can actually go across the room in a fairly straight line. He doesn't
walk, he prances on three legs. He wants so badly to be one of the guys and runs after
them when they go outside but I still have to pick him up and take him out
because going up or down steps are not something he can do. Every little
thing he learns is like a major accomplishment. We're not sure if he will
ever become a stud. He knows there's something special going on when the
females are in heat, but he's just not quite sure what to do about it.
My handsome man is just a boy, pictured above and just below - August
2006. Tonight he actually rolled around on his back and turned over.
I have to keep his hair trimmed around his mouth because if he gets just one
hair in his mouth, he freaks out. He is such a beautiful yorkie and we
love him to pieces.

Bo at 6 weeks old.....

Bo likes to be just like one of the guys and run outside with the rest of the dogs, but I have
to carry him out and bring him in as he doesn't do steps. Below: summer
2006.
