About Gizmo When Gizmo arrived at our home from Lousiana, Sissy was in heat for the first time. She instantly claimed Gizmo as her boy-toy. And Gizmo was equally delighted for the warm welcome to his new home. All the dogs seem to cling to me, that is, except for Gizmo. He instantly choose to be my husband's dog. Gary has a little shadow that follows him everywhere. And when Gary leaves the house, Gizmo will sit at the door and howl like he's been hurt. Gizmo has a silver blue back, tan legs, and his head is almost white when he's clean. But, he really hates getting a bath and brushed, and just like Gary, he hates to have his picture taken. He's spunky and devilish but so darn cute with baby doll face. He and MoJo are like best buds . February 4th, 2006, we almost lost Gizmo. We were on our way driving home from Florida when our granddaughter called, Gizmo had been in a fight with one of our other yorkies. He was bleeding from the mouth and couldn't stand up. They rushed him to the emergency vet for an over night stay. He was in shock with severe head trauma and without medical care we would have lost him. The vet allowed him to come home Super Bowl Sunday, in a snow storm, because I had dealt with a yorkie with sever head trauma before. He was a little on the wobbly side for sometime but has made major improvements. I was impressed when the vet called a couple of days later to see how he was doing. Our granddaughter figured out that it must have been Reggie, who had been in heat and when she's done, SHE'S DONE! It was then that we decided to keep Neptune, Gizmo's son with Sassy, now named Rinkadinkado, Dinky. Gizmo as a pup.............
He is much lighter than he looks in this picture. The top of head looks blond but it's actually almost white.
