Star

From the time Star was born she was special. She was almost all black except for a small white star on her chest.  She had the prettiest little face I've ever seen.  She and Love, almost at the same time, raised their ears to the sky when they were only 3 weeks old and they never went down.  They never went through the flying nun ears stage.   I had considered keeping her because she was so special but twice we thought we had Star a forever home and twice it didn't work out.  I finally decided I simply couldn't part with this little angel.  She is such a little monkey and loves to sit on your shoulder.  When Roxie is laying on my lap, Star has to come and lay on top of her so she can be on my lap too.  Star and Peanut join forces and love to pick on Roxie.

On August 29th, 2008 she gave us a surprise delivery...........I thought I might have to take her to the vet the next morning because she was acting so weird.  Turns out, she wasn't constipated.........she was pregnant and having a puppy.  She didn't look pregnant, she didn't feel pregnant, she didn't act pregnant, but by golly, she sure was.  Chloe arrived at 10:52pm.

Star at 18 weeks....

It took some back and forth negotiation between my heart and my head but I finally gave into my heart and Angel Star will be staying with us for the duration.  This little angel is just that, as sweet as they come.

Star is now 6 months old and weighs all the way to 3 pounds.  Don't let her innocent beauty fool you.  She can be a little devil.

Dawn - 12 weeks old - 2.5 lb with Star - 6 months old - 3 pounds

Star at 8 months old and still weighing only 3 pounds.............

Roxie is curios about Feebie's babies..........

Star is still a pup at heart.  I heard this noise and there was Star, sucking away on her substitute mama Roxie............When she looked up at me, you would swear she was saying, I didn't do it, it wasn't me!

Just 19 days later, Star gave us a big surprise.............I thought I was going to have to send her to the vet the next day with my hubby because she was acting strange, and much to our surprise, she was having a puppy!  We were totally in shock!  We had no idea she was pregnant.  She didn't look pregnant, she didn't feel pregnant, she didn't act pregnant but by golly gee, she sure was pregnant.  Little Chloe arrived at 10:52pm on August 29, 2008.............

at one day old..........
